DJ Scott Stackpole
Scott has been spinning since 1996 with his beginnings rooted in NYC private and rooftop parties that helped land him a weekly residence at NYC’s Coney Island High as a DJ for 70′s theme disco night ‘Solid Gold’ which attracted a wide range of clientele such as Moby and Sebastian Bach. This gig led to guest spinning at NYC’s Webster Hall and a house residency at NYC’s Bowlmor Lanes where Scott was instrumental in molding the club’s atmosphere. He has dj’d many weddings and large scale corporate and private events for such clients as L’Oreal, Capitol Records and Bryce Dallas Howard. Scott specializes in vinyl, disco, classic rock, trance right up to today’s current hits. In 2009 Scott moved to the Hudson Valley with his wife, son, and daughter and brings his NYC years of corporate, club, and party experience to JTD Productions.
DJ Julie Jakolat
I grew up in the Silicon Valley, raised by a tuba playing father and a mother who sang with Sweet Adelines. I’ve been a lover of music for as long as I can remember, and my brain is a jukebox with an endless pocket of change close at hand. My first job was working in a record store. I thought it was amazing to be able to make money while standing around talking to people about music. While in college, I trained as a radio DJ and hosted a weekly jazz show on KSJS. After moving to New York City to pursue my graduate studies, I quickly landed a job as a resident DJ at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square. It allowed me access to an almost infinite library of music as well as people with incredibly diverse musical tastes. During this period of my life my music collection grew by leaps and bounds. Currently my library contains many thousands of albums, and is always growing. I DJ’d my first wedding as a favor to my sister, for a friend of hers. I really had a great time and today weddings and parties make up the bulk of my business. I love getting to know brides and grooms, finding out about the music you love, and crafting an evening’s worth of music that makes you thrilled and keeps the party going all night. Making people happy with music has got to be one of the best feelings I know.
Nellie runs the show as the office manager for both JTD Productions and radio UNLEASHED. Before joining JTD and rU in 2010 she worked in the promotions department of Cumulus Media. Nellie has always had an interest in all things radio and music. She learned guitar at age six and is an amateur
singer-songwriter. Her interests lead her to earn a bachelor degree in Communications and Media Arts at Marist College.
Outside of the musical world, Nellie has a knack for coordinating events. She runs the JTD Productions’ Annual Charity Golf Tournament, as well as various JTD events, and is always up for a new challenge. She currently resides in the Hudson Valley with her boyfriend Brad and their adorable Yorkie/Bichon mix Dash.
