Dave Leonard is the founder and driving force behind JTD Productions, Inc.
A professional disc jockey in the Hudson Valley for the past
14 years, Dave also hosts “Unleashed” and the night
shift on WDST-FM and www.wdst.com.
Whether on the air or at your event, Dave’s main focus
has always been to find a common ground among all types of people
and bring them together through an eclectic blend of music—as
evidenced in the hundreds of successful parties and weddings
he has DJ’d across the country.
Dave
began his career in 1983 as a disc jockey at WDUB at Denison
University in Granville, Ohio, where he became Program Director
at the end of his freshman year and continued as Station Manager
until graduation. Dave’s first commercial job--in between
skiing and mountain climbing--was as the evening disc jockey
at KMTN in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He returned east in 1989
and joined the legendary alternative station WDST in Woodstock,
NY. In 1992 he had the opportunity to help start the progressive
outlet WKZE in Sharon, CT. As Program Director, disc jockey
and Regional Sales Manager for WKZE he had his pulse on the
community and the station and created a unique financially
and artistically successful adult alternative radio station.
In
1996 Dave returned to WDST as Program Director, afternoon
DJ, and ultimately Operations Manager, in addition to running
JTD Productions, Inc. Currently Dave serves as Vice President
of Music Programming for the Woodstock Broadcasting Network,
a worldwide broadcast entertainment company, and its on-line
Internet radio station, www.radiowoodstock.com.

Jamie
Hurst, aka “DJ Thrift,” was born into music
with his grandfather having been a superb lounge musician entertaining
swingsters thru the late 40's and early 50's with organ and
song. By age seven Jamie was receiving weekly doses of 45's
and tuning into WABC radio for "The Hits." Drums soon
followed and Jamie settled into a deep groove at The Berkley
College of Music in Boston, which led to a ten-year stint of
rock drumming and “oh-so-close” record deals with
labels like EMI and Columbia.
Jamie expanded
his creative palette with extensive travels to Europe and
the East Village for new vinyl, and he prides himself in bringing
all of his life’s experiences and musical knowledge
to your table. With an extensive vinyl collection, Jamie provides
all the music that ensures success for your event. |
Alex
Mazur is a full-time professional musician and DJ.
Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, he has for all intents
and purposes been a DJ all his life. Even at grade school parties
and dances he was the one spinning the records. He has since
traveled the world as a piano player and keyboardist, living
and working in England, Colorado, California, Arizona, and New
York.
In 1990, he moved
back to New Paltz where he started working as a professional
wedding DJ, in addition to his work as a pianist, and quickly
developed a reputation for excellence and sophistication.
He works very hard with his clients to identify and understand
what they want and don’t want--and has the skill, knowledge,
and experience to make that work for them.
As a piano player,
he is also able to offer a mix of live and DJ music at package
rates. He will often play piano for the ceremony and/or cocktail
hour and DJ for the dinner and dancing.

DJ
Zen (Matt Beres)
grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, left home at 18 to train as an
actor and director for the stage, ran a summer camp department
for 8 years, travelled throughout Southeast Asia by foot, scooter,
bus, boat, tuk tuk, and motorcycle, then returned to the States
to put down roots in one of his favorite spots on the planet,
the Catskills. There he moved into the Tibetan Buddhist Monastery
on the mountain where he learned he could travel much further
with his mind than he ever could with his body. One of his main
meditations now is reading the crowd at a JTD event and giving
them the right song in each moment. |
